Today's Projects

Blog11

These are my newly dyed roses. They were dingy white originally and I was headed to the trash with them and then thought to color them. I had no dye so off to the kitchen to look for food coloring. I found some red and put several drops into a bowl of water and dunked them. In minutes they were pink and they picked up more color on the edges which makes them look more realistic. I love em!

I need ideas here....this is a vintage playing card, standard size. I picked it up on Ebay but now what do I do with it??? I love the graphic and am thinking of copying it and having notecards made up. Anyone have any other ideas?

I never thought of dying my faux flowers before - what a good idea! Love the playing card! Notecards are a good idea.

How pretty the roses look with a change of color.
Love the playing card. What about also using it on top of note paper using the floral border across the top of the page and the house in the centre top or corner
